11 Natural Ways to Enhance Your Beauty - Sole Toscana

Your skin reflects the state of your overall health. And health includes stress levels and happiness. Therefore, the healthier you are internally, the more radiant your skin.

Taking care of our skin by using topical oils and other treatments is okay, but there are more ways to enhance our beauty naturally. Some of our favorites include:

1. Drinking water

This statement sounds cliche, but water is essential for good health. Dehydration makes wrinkles more apparent and negatively affects your body functions.

Drink water slowly throughout the day. If you try to compensate by drinking too much at once, you won't absorb it all.

If you love tea, coffee, or alcohol, hydrate before and after consuming them to neutralize their effects.

2. Sweat

About 20% of the body's elimination of toxins occurs through perspiration. Do an activity that induces sweat- cycling, sitting in a sauna, exercise, jogging, yoga, etc.

Ensure you wash your face before working out, especially if you wear makeup. As you sweat, your skin pores open, and makeup and grime get in. Shower immediately after you exercise to avoid reabsorbing whatever you sweated out.

3. Brew yourself a bath

Taking a bath is quite relaxing, relieving the stress that wears on your whole being, including your skin.

Level up your bath by brewing a big, strong pot of tea and adding it to the water.

USE THE FOLLOWING TEAS IN YOUR BATH:

  • Coffee
  • Echinacea
  • Fennel
  • Yarrow
  • Chamomile

4. Beauty minerals

Consider consuming more of the following beautifying nutrients:

Sulfur is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is essential to many of its processes. When you have enough sulfur, your hair and skin become soft and smooth. Sources of sulfur include radishes, cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage, and eggs.

Zinc is another mineral that gives you a natural glow. Zinc occurs in spirulina, mussels, and seeds, such as pumpkin, poppy, or sunflower seeds.

5. Get naked

Allow your face to be makeup-less one day a week to give your pores a chance to breathe.

orange and vegetables

6. Orange

Dark orange foods contain lots of beta carotene and give you a warm complexion. Eat more apricots, sweet potatoes, peaches, carrots, and butternut squash.

Vitamin A is fat-soluble, so eating some healthy fat at the same time enhances absorption. For example, drizzle some olive oil on a roasted sweet potato or eat a slice of avocado after your carrot juice.

7. Charcoal for teeth

Add charcoal powder to your toothpaste or put it directly on your toothbrush. Doing this treatment a few times a week will absorb impurities from your mouth and remove stains from your teeth.

8. Tone your tresses

Hair rinses are the easiest ways to lighten your hair or add a little color naturally. They also nourish your scalp and soften your hair. Brew a pot of tea, allow it to cool, then rinse your hair with it after shampooing.

HERBS FOR HAIR

Leave the tea on for 20 minutes then condition as usual.

  • Rosemary cleans the hair.
  • Black tea or coffee deepens hair color and adds subtle reddish tones.
  • Chamomile lightens hair and soothes the scalp.

If tea rinses consume too much of your time, try adding some ingredients to your shampoo. For instance, if you have brown hair, add cinnamon and cocoa powder to your shampoo to deepen your color.

Adding honey to your shampoo lightens your hair, but make sure you wash it out thoroughly to avoid the stickiness.

9. The other hair

Have you ever thought of conditioning your eyelashes and brows?

Brush a gentle oil or organic eye cream over your eyebrows and on the tips of your eyelashes before bed to keep them soft.

Keep your brows groomed to frame your face beautifully. Try threading, plucking, waxing, or microblading to stay looking effortlessly groomed.

10. Perk it up

Is there any such thing as natural breast firming? Yes. You can use hydrotherapy to promote perky breasts. End your showers with 30 seconds of cold water running over your breasts to stimulate circulation. Boosted circulation can help keep breasts firm.

Alternatively, you can switch between hot and cold, in 30-second periods. End with cold water for extra circulation.

11. Mind your thoughts

Sadness wears us out, physically and emotionally. Maintaining positive thoughts and focusing on good intentions will make you more beautiful.

Stay happy by surrounding yourself with beautiful things. Have indoor potted plants to liven up your home, keep a vase of flowers in your room, spruce up your house with decorations that inspire and please you. Invite happiness into your life, and watch beauty come along with it.
